“business trip”

My first evening at your accommodations was very positive. I dealt with a young gal by the name of Marta. (evening of Wed, Feb 27th). She was very professional, smart and helpful. Great customer service. Not only is she beautiful on the outside but the inside too (okay a bit corny but true). The following evening a young gentleman (East Indian) assisted me by locating a space heater when I found my room a bit too cold. He took the time to leave the front desk and deliver a heater to me. Then the day I checked out a Fillipino couple who I think worked as cleaners helped me carry my bags to my car in the freezing cold. Needless to say I was thoroughly impressed with the over and above service I received from the staff. Unfortunately it ended on a sad note. When I checked out I dealt with an East Indian lady (stone in her nose). (did not get her name). She was very abrupt and condescending. I commented on the positive excellent service I had received when I checked in a few days before with Marta and then she became a little more friendly and receptive. Unfortunately it is usually the negative experiences we remember and share the most with others....so this is why I wanted to point out the positive before the negative. The East Indian lady who I checked out with on Friday, Feb 28 am definitely did not leave a good impression for me. She could learn from the other staff that I had dealt with previously. I have travelled the entire world extensively as a flight attendant and I currently travel from my home in BC to Calgary frequently on business. Although I had mainly positive experiences at your hotel the one negative experience I had with the East Indian lady in the am of Feb 28 2014 has made me think twice about returning to your hotel when I travel there again this summer. She needs a Customer Service course - perhaps Marta can lead the course?? Thanks Leigha Watson
