“Decent stay at a reasonable price”

  , Palo Alto
I pre-booked the room for 3 nights over President's day weekend. The room was clean and had a small refrigerator and coffee maker. The bathroom was small, with a small toilet and only two large towels. With two queen beds I expected to see 4 towels, though we didn't need the extras. The hot water quickly reached the shower and I had no problems with the hot shower. There aren't enough places to put stuff (only a small soap holder) and I tend to shave and use shampoo in the shower, so it means leaving everything on the floor. While the beds weren't super-comfortable, they were better than at Motel 6. My sleep was only interrupted with my arm falling asleep three or four times each night. We ended up staying only two nights (unrelated to the quality of the hotel) and I could not get a refund on the 3rd night due to pre-booking online. One of the best parts of this hotel is that it is right next to Heidi's, a wonderful restaurant for breakfast before an active day.
