“Nice Property on Main Street”

I visited the property with my familt last weekend. This is a family run property. The breakfast is poor. All the items available were sweet (Waffels, Cereal, bread, butter, jam and mini muffins). There were apples and bananas too. The first morning banana's ran out and the lady said whet to do banana's are in demand (sorry). We did not get a banana. Unfortunately there did not have any eggs, cheese, bacon, cold cuts etc. I do not have a sweet tooth and did not enjoy the breakfast at all. Even the brown bread ran out on the 2nd day. Interestingly they did not do up the room on th morning of day 2. I asked the reception if they do up the room and they said ' do you want us to do up the room'. I insisted and said yes. When I cam back in the evening the room was not done up so I went back to the reception and checked. They immediately came and did it up. It seems that it is not a practice to do up the room if the same person taked it for 2 to 3 nights. This was my feeling. Its unfortunate that Howard Johnson - has such a poor standard in Gananoque.
