“Disney Land Vacation Staying at the Howard Johnson”

  , Helena
When we first tried to check in we were very tired and a little confused, My fiance thought we had already been charged but we did not have a receipt. I asked the young lady (I say young because I assume she was younger than I and I am 28) at the front desk if we could just check in any way and if it did turn out we had payed that we could just take care of it then. She said no because she did not want to charge us twice. The next person I talked to said they don't charge us until the end of our stay anyway, had the other receptionist told us this we could have been checked in a lot sooner. It was our miss understanding but could have gone simpler. Then when we checked in I was very sad, it looked nothing like the picture and at 209$ a night we could have stayed closer to the gates of Disney Land than an eight minute walk, I told myself we paid for the view, went and looked and saw a roof top!! I was very upset we got the room because we were assured a view of Disney Land which the front desk manager told my fiance when he complained that just meant a view of the fireworks! He did lower the room price for us because we were upset and that was good because we would not have stayed had he not. It was over all clean, but a very old room. Not worth the price. The attendants were very kind and friendly though and that was very good! The gift shop is over priced but the workers were very friendly. All in all we would not stay again we will be staying in the park next time. The beds were comfortable my fiance said that was the best part of the stay.
