“October stay”

  , Lakeport
The facility was adequate and fairly clean. The room needed long term maintenance. Only one night stand and the laminate was peeling off the top, the recliner chair was broken, general chips and dings on the furniture. The bathroom was clean and in good shape. The bed is very firm if that is what you like.Sleep the first night was interupted by some noisy neighbors returning from the a bar. second night was quiet. Lots of light leaks around the curtains. The staff was nice, helpful and met our needs. Breakfast was very basic, the coffee was good. The location is the best on Arcata's motel row, last in line and away from the freeway. All in all, about what I expect from a less expensive motel. The room met our needs, no frills and we felt secure at this location.
