“Terrible Time”

  , Richmond
My gosh, how can I start. This location may be the closest to Yankee Stadium but I would not classify it as such. When I checked in, I had a discrepancy with the room price I was quoted versus what the rude attendant had me pay. The room was musky, old and I did not like it at all. The bathroom fan was LOUD and did not perform its intended purposes. The bed spread seemed like it has not been washed in a while and the wall/floor crevices needed to be vacuumed. My sleep was horrible. After my initial entering of the room I was turned off sleeping under the blankets. My room (262 I believe) had the worse bed I ever slept on (including my military days on the desert floor). My wife accompanied me on my trip and we both ended up bumping heads "all night" in the center of the bed, where we seemed to keep rolling towards.I never took my socks off so unfortunately I did not take a shower. On another note, my towels and wash cloths were clean.Sorry HJ, you receive thumbs down for this stay.
