“Bugs in Bedsheets”

We stayed at this hotel due to its proximity to Oktoberfest festivities in Kitchener on Oct 13 2012. At first glance it just seemed like a cheap hotel, with an expensive rate, that was in desperate need of some updates and renovations. Upon closer inspection we found dirty towels in the shower and dead bees in our sheets. When we called the front desk to ask to speak to a manager and to ask for a new set of sheets the gentlemen at the front desk would not connect us to a manager but said he would deal with it. Ten minutes later we had a knock on our door and our sheets were dropped off at the door. No one from hospitality services arrived. We had to strip the bed and remake it only to find out the sheets we were given were dirty and not a full set. We physically went to the front desk once again asking to speak to a manager and once again our request denied and fresh sheets were handed to us and we had to make our bed. These sheets were not much better with old stains in the sheets. Needless to say I slept fully clothed. In the morning we made one more attempt to contact a manager and once again the request was rejected and we were told all we would get back is 15% for the inconvenience.I would never recommend this hotel to anyone ever again. It is overpriced ( we paid 146$ for a 2-double bed room) for what we got. The "complementary continental breakfast" was made up of a couple muffins and some stale cereal. Definitely not impressed. Do not stay at this hotel.
