“Not Recommended for Single Women”

  , Tucson
I was in L.A. this past week for work and just needed an affordable, clean room that was close to my place of work. While your hotel technically met these requirements I was disappointed and unsettled by the arrest that was made one night in the room next to mine. The officers took the better part of an hour dealing with the situation, keeping me awake and very uneasy for the rest of the night. I am very grateful to the police force for upholding their duty but the whole night made me feel extremely vulnerable and not at all safe as a single woman staying at the hotel. I relayed this experience to the desk attendant the next morning but very little was done to make me feel any safer. I know that this is not the fault of the hotel, however more could have been done considering the odd and uncomfortable set of circumstances. I would also like to suggest better lighting at the hotel at night and more parking spaces since I was also without a parking space on more than one occasion.Coffee was horrible.
