“Great location for a high price”

  , Truckee
Although the ocean view was blocked mostly by the new NOAA museum, it was nice to see the wharf. But the price, oh my! For 2 nights $420 seemed a bit steep for that view. The hot tub was only warm, but when asked, the staff turned the heater up. It took some time, but it helped. The hot tub had quite a bit of sand in it too. The breakfast Sat. was ok - no waffles, as mentioned when we checked in, but waffles were back on Sunday. Maybe it is too much to ask, but drinking coffee from styrofoam just takes away from the coffee experience. I'm sure real mugs & plates are out of the question, but it would be nice.
