Parque Historico, seven miles away, includes groves of mangrove trees and a living history component. Cerro Blanco Protected Forest features more than 200 bird species, big cats such as pumas and jaguars, white-tailed deer and raccoons, while the Botanical Garden has more than 320 plant species, 70 bird species and 60 butterfly species.
