“The stay with your hotel was due to a tragedy - as our home...”

The stay with your hotel was due to a tragedy - as our home caught on fire and Red Cross was kind enough to find your hotel, as we had 2 dogs (we lost our 6 beloved cats in the fire). Anyway, we checked in about 1:30-2am on the 25th, but we were charged a full night of the 24th. If customers come in after midnight, courtesy would state to charge for the following day, with perhaps a small fee for the few extra hours, not a full night's charge. After the 5 day stay with Red Cross, we had to stay and additional 8 days, which cost us over $900 - you would think that with us staying in your hotel for a total of 13 days, that you would have provided a discount, but no that was not happening.Your housekeeping staff did not need to clean our room during our stay because we cleaned the room and of course we had our dogs - however, on the last day there, they were extremely rude to us, as we had made arrangements with the front desk to leave at least 2 hrs after checkout due to our accomodations elsewhere were not available.We also go to college full time and were advised that your internet services would be up and running, we lost 3 days of school due to the fact your front office staff did not know how to boot up their computer system. My husband offered to help, but they declined. My husband has an AA degree in IT and is currently enrolled for a BA degree in IT.
