Upon check in they could not find my reservation. I had made a point to call that morning to confirm as I had called the Wyndham reservation line previously. I also requested an upper floor through the reservation line and the morning of arrival. I also informed the hotel that morning that I would be a late check in about midnight but would definately be there. The deskclerk finally found my reservation but said it was only for one night and the hotel was full the rest of the weekend. I explained I had the confirmation numbers but she could not locate them in the computer. My first night was to be used with Wyndham points and the second night was to be paid for. Because she could notfigure out how to use the points reservation for that night I had to give her my credit card to charge for the night and hope it was straightened out in the morning. Its was now almost 1230am. She had me sign reg card and then called me by a different name. i reminded her of my name and she said we had to start over. Still couldnt give me an upper room even though she told me the room number in the beginning and ended up giving me a lower floor in the end, only after i had to remind her of my correct name for the third time. I did get up early to go and see the manager the next morning who was very accomodating and apologetic, she put a credit through my credit card to reverse the charges charged to me in error. She also moved my room to a higher floor as requested and provided me with a 10% discount. When occupying the new room I realized that the back of the bathroom door had not been cleaned in ages, the drain hole in the sink hadnt been touched with cleanser for years. the carpets made my feet black by the time i got out of the shower and into the sleeping area. Nothing looked like it had had a thorough cleaning in some time. The elevators were filthy. I didn't want to move again and go through the hassle of the desk so we stayed but I would not stay there again. The resturant food was great. The service was hit or miss
