“Last Ditch Hotel for Unscheduled Says Near Chicago-O'Hare”; Nov 12, 2012 Robert L, Atlanta; This motel is no different than many other Howard Johnsons in that it relies upon major weather events and the attendant flight cancellations to generate a surge of distressed passengers desperate for a place to sleep. The motel is old, musty, and only barely tolerable as far as cleanliness goes. This particular property is nearly 30 minutes' drive from O'Hare in a battered shuttle van which runs every half hour, so be careful when planning your commute back to the airport.
