“Terrible condition of hotel and shuttle at 600 East Lake Street, Addison, IL”

  , Bellevue
I cannot believe that American Airlines puts up its stranded passengers from O'hare in this dive hotel. First, amongst all the nice hotel shuttles that arrived, along comes the Howard Johnson one which was beat up, old, outside front passenger door didn't open from outside, and the side door for passengers on the side didn't open from inside. The driver was an ancient man bent over, that could barely stay awake on the long drive to the hotel to a terrible neighborhood, weaving all over. To arrive at hotel with large man at the desk visibly dripping sweat in a soaked shirt as he checked in a line of stranded passengers. The walk to the room on filthy, old carpets was bad, and the room it self was horrid and stunk. It was awful, and between the room and air quality, and fear of the neighborhood, I did not sleep at all and just hoped about being able to safely get back to the airport.
