“very bad customer service from the owner/ manager”

When checking in ,front desk could not find our reservation , then found it for 1 day, when it was supposed to be for five days · After trying to figure out what the issue was, we decided to just go with what it said, just decided to stay that night. We were automatically charged for that one night because my c.c. was already o n file.After making reservations for another hotel for the remaining days, we receive a phone call from the front desk that they had magically found our reservation for the remaining days. We told them that we had already made reservations elsewhere and he said that since the reservation was made online it was not able to be cancelled. And that we would be charged for the next 4 days whether we stayed there or not! We had no choice but to stay against our will. I looked up my bank account and surely enough they had taken it upon themselves to charge me the remaining balance without my consent! The The very next day we tried to use our keys but they did not work, we stopped by the front desk and they said that sometimes they get deactivated . Which is when I asked to see my receipt of the new charges and he denied it several times. I told him that we didn't think it was fair thAt he just charged us without our consent and he kept saying that he was not going to give us any money back and he had nothing more to tell us. We were put in a terrible position and had no choice but to stay at this non-welcoming place! Travelers please beware of a chain of hotels that employs these type of managers! You don't want to be put in this situation!
