“Typical economy lodging”

There was nothing that stood out about the furnishings or accommodations for the Howard Johnson - Springfield. For an economy lodging, it served the purpose of a clean place to sleep without breaking the bank. Yes, the room was outdated and showed signs of wear in the bathroom tiles and fixtures, but it was clean.I was impressed when I found my deadbolt wouldn't latch that the front-desk representative arranged for me to move into the room next door and had the new key up to me in less than 5 minutes!I was a bit disappointed with the return of my property when I found that it was inadvertently left there. I contacted the property and they verified my lost item was found and informed me of how to get it back. After sending a pre-paid mailer to get my item back, it took more than a week to get it back - and I only live 2 1/2 hours away from this property (wouldn't have thought it would take more than 4 days max). However, I did get my property back, so I do give them credit for being honest!
