Thank you for staying at Howard Johnson Cedar Rapids. I understand that it can feel uncomfortable with guests waiting at door area. We do have a group of students that stay in our hotel. Many are smokers and stand near the door to smoke. We try to discourage this and have set up a smoking area at the back of the hotel to try to eleviate this problem.
