“Over-priced in Junction City”; Oct 09, 2012 Kenneth W, Kansas City; This was one hotel my wife I and stayed in out of necessity, not choice. We had waited too long to pull in for the night, and didn't realize Junction City was so close to Manhattan, where a major college football game had just ended. Plus, it was Saturday night. The clerk would offer no discounts, and the cost was the most we had spent on a weeklong trip to Colorado, which had included some top-notch hotels. This property was very run-down and seedy looking, although comparatively clean. Biggest problem: my wife is a "bathtub person," and the tub had no stopper! $110 for a room with no bathtub. She was able to stuff plastic in the drain and get by, but we'll avoid this hotel on our next trip.
