“Unhealthy and dirty”; Feb 10, 2013 Julie R, Auburndale; Bathroom-black mold next to toilet (photos)-water damage behind toilet. Lights between beds wouldn't work - receptacle was broken. Hotel carpets not vacuumed. Dark, dingy rooms. Health Dept. contacted

Hello JulieI would like to say thank you for staying at the Howard Johnson near Fort Riley while your visit in Junction City, KS. I see that you experience some problems during your stay and I would like to apologize about the black mold near the toilet and receptacle being broken. We did actually have the health department come inspect the property after your complaint and they inspected our rooms and I had notified her as well that as soon as we see issues we resolve them immediatly, we did repaint the entire bathroom and she inspected it and saw no mold after that. she inspected on March 5th 2013. I would like you to come and try us out once more and we assure you, that your stay will be wonderful. Once again my staff and I would like to thank you for choosing our hotel while you were in Junction City, KS. « hide
