“"For starters there were two woman at the front desk, one...”

"For starters there were two woman at the front desk, one who crossed her arms and sat on her stool by the back wall and the on who was actually helping us. The woman only came grumbling and growling to help her when we explained that one night was free which had is own reservation and the other we'd pay in cash. The dark haired woman was very rude to the new girl (I assume she was new and learning the job, she she has much better people skills). Once that ordeal was done even with a cruddy map in hand we wandered the maze of the hotel with the bad directions what were given from the front desk. Here we are lugging 75+ pounds through a hotel with NO ELEVATOR. We were finally saved when two Spanish speaking woman (neither of us spoke Spanish) helped by guiding us to the right place. We were sure neither of us could find it again. Though with further instruction of the housekeeper we infuriatingly found that ours was easily assessable from the front of the street facing building. We had been instructed to enter from the far corner around the building, which by the way, is only connected on the first floor. So technically we were told the wrong building completely. The Room: It smelled dank and musty. Upon further review, which didn't take much, we saw one of the comforters on the two beds had two very visible wholes in it. Looking up you see brown water spots everywhere among the ceiling tiles; a little closer look and a small red wire is hanging down between them. The left headboard was noticeably cracked. The outlet under the A/C was totally hanging out of the wall. The door to the room doesn't close all the way unless you have the forethought and strength of a linebacker. The bathtub was rusty in various places, the toilet refused to flush unless you had time to stand there and hold it down for a good minute or so. Then you'd have to do it again-- all the while the pipes screaming in protest for at least 7 minutes. All in all it was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I will not be using your facilities again."
