- The Hotel was nice clean and friendly service. Good locations, located by nice restaraunts within walking distance. Handy right off I-65 location. Nice comfortable rooms, with comfortable beds. It was nice, relaxing stay!! I would recommend Howard Johnson to anyone traveling to Elizabethtown, KY. Or like me who work in Elizabethtown. It saves me fuel. You get your money's worth at this hotel. It located right next to the visitors center and less than 10 miles from the towne mall and other shopping centers. It is off the main drag so provides a quiet atmosphere to sleep or spend time with your special someone.
