“My Saturday night stay in Lake Charles”; Oct 11, 2012 Gloria B, Covington; Staff was very helpful, friendly and welcoming. I called for directions prior to arrival. The staff, Alma, was very patient and gave excellent directions. I was given, as asked, an early check-in. When I arrived, I was updated from a King suite to a King suite with a whirlpool which I thoroughly enjoyed!!!Through my own fault, I hadn't studied and realized it wasn't as close to L'Auberge as I would have liked but it only was about a 8 min. drive. I didn't use the pool or fitness center. The pool and hot tub looked nice and clean though. The fitness center could use more equipment. I ate at a nearby seafood restaurant, Steamboat Bill's on the Lake, which I thoroughly enjoyed.Overall, I'd definitely stay there again!!!
