“Look for another place”; Jan 11, 2013 Kelly S, Coventry; I booked this place online based on location and pictures and I was a little disappointed when I arrived seeing it was a motel instead of a hotel...no big deal though. The room was extremely cramped for two beds, the door barley clearing one of the beds when you entered the room. The bed spread on one of the beds had questionable stains on it and the carpet was very worn and dirty looking. Although the bathroom had a new counter top, it did not take away from the mold all over the ceiling and the fact there were no towels. After going to the desk to retrieve towels and explaining that there were none in the room, the clerk gave us two small very worn towels....how generous. The next morning when I needed to check out quickly, there was no one to be found at the desk except for another annoyed customer who had been waiting. After ringing the bell a couple of times and several minutes of waiting, I was forced to leave my room key with a note because no one ever came to the desk.......REALLY HO JO??? If I were there for a leisure trip I would have found another place when I arrived. Overall it was an unpleasant experience and I will not book this place again and will seriously rethink about staying at another Howard Johnson.
