“Great hotel if you just need a place to crash”

  , Naples
During a recent business trip I took a quick side trip to visit family in the area. I didn't need anything fancy, just a clean place to sleep, and this seemed to fit the bill. At less than half the cost of the other major brands in the area, I wasn't sure what to expect, but when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The property was clean and well maintained and the front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The room was much larger than I expected and well furnished. With the hotel being right off the interstate, I was pleasantly surprised to experience absolutely no highway noise in my room. This is certainly not a destination hotel, but works great for a home base while you're visiting the area. A couple of notes - the hotel advertises a free breakfast and it's barely that, justa few pasteries, cereal, juice and coffee, but for what I saved compared to other area hotels, I was able to take my uncle out for brunch at a nice restaurant. This is one of the few hotels left that still offers smoking rooms and even though I couldn't smell any cigarette smoke in my room, the odor was fairly heavy in parts of the hallways.
