“Not worth $119”

  , Dodge City
We read the not-so good reviews but stayed here anyway because our son's baseball team was staying here. This place is run down. The bathrooms need remodeling. The pool area is poorly lit and makes it feel dingy. There were never enough pool towels. Our TV did not have a remote. A man with our group was originally told our room was going to be $103. When I called to reserve our room and after asking the price, was told my room would be $119 before taxes. We were never given the original quoted price The lady who I talked to about reserving the room acted like she didn't know what she was doing. I had to ask all the questions and offer her important info (like how long we were staying) that she neglected to ask. She asked me the same questions over and over and I worried that we would even have a room when we got there. This motel is worth about $60-75 per night. Anything over that is not worth it.
