Upon arrival at my room, noticed a pool of hot water in the hall. Adjacent room was flooded from hot water leak. The carpet in my room was also wet and needed to be dried. The adjacent room took priority being the source of the leak. I stayed away from my room as it was damp and needed to be dried. This took appx 2 hours. Waited in the not so clean bar area. No attempt made by staff to accomodate my inconvenience during the 2 hour wait. At check out the next morning, no offer of a reduced room rate, so I asked for some consideration. Wow, a $10 reduction. They almost got told what they could do with that. HJ staff were not proactive at all. They should have been more accomodating of my inconvenience, before I had to ask.
