“Not bad for a one night's stay”

  , Wolcott
Stayed here for one night on a Saturday. Great price and not a bad location (on a main road right next to a gas station), but it's an older hotel with not any recent rennovations. We stayed on the 3rd (top) floor and had to take the elevator with our baggage and the elevator is very old and slow that I was a little scared that it might break down. The room is a good size and there was a nice little balcony overlooking the pool (which was closed when I went). The carpet was old and dirty looking that I was afraid to walk barefoot on it. The bathroom was big with a giant soaking tub (didn't use it), but the shower was very small and had a weird swinging door. My husband is 6'4" and didn't even shower because he would've been cramped in there! I would've rather they not have the giant soaking tub and have a normal tub/shower. The bed was comfortable and slept well. They do have a continental breakfast in the lobby and I checked out at 10:15am and just wanted a cup of coffee and they were out. The lady working there said they stopped serving at 10. I have been to hotels before that served coffee all day long, so was a little disappointed that I couldn't even get a cup of coffee. Overall, it's not a bad hotel for a single night while traveling through the area. It is dog friendly, so I would probably only stay here again if I was traveling with my dog.
