“This is the most VILE hotel I've ever stayed at!”

  , West Saint Paul
Let's start at the beginning. My brother arrived the day before my father and I. In the room he was given, his wife found a washcloth covered in semen and stuffed under the corner of the mattress. They also found dirty towels hanging up in the bathroom. They were switched to a different room. When my father and I arrived, I went up to my room and the first thing that hit me was the smell! It was like bad body odor. It was really hot so I turned on the air conditioner and opened the balcony door to try and air it out. This is when I noticed the huge sticker someone's kid (I assume) left on the sliding glass door. I started looking around the room with my brother and sister-in-law. This is when the horror began. First, I found a very large semen stain on the chair in the corner. There was also a stain on the desk chair that may have been coffee or soda. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls, and there were large water stains covering a sizable area of the ceiling. I found bloody boogers smeared on the wall both in my room and in the hallway outside. When we left to go eat at the connected IHOP, I left the air conditioner running so it would stay cool in there. When we returned about an hour later, the air conditioner had leaked all over the carpet and the smell was even worse then when I got there. I called the front desk to advise of this and instead of switching me to a different room (because there were no other King sized rooms available), they sent a "maintenance man" to come up and check it out. He came in with an old ShopVac and a towel. He hit the machine a couple of times and turned the temperature down to 63. Then he sucked the water out of the a/c with the vaccuum and threw the towel on the carpet. Then he left. I decided that since I wasn't going to be in the room that much and I was only staying there 2 nights, I would deal with it. A little while later, I went out on the balcony and noticed glass all over the place. I turn around and sure enough, the whole outside pane of glass on the sliding door was busted out with large shards of glass still hanging around the edge. Underneath the balcony there were used condoms and wrappers as well as other garbage everywhere. Also, I should note that NONE of the fire hose stations at the end of the halls had hoses in them. NONE OF THEM!
