“DISAPPOINTED”

I checked this hotel out approx 6 weeks in advance. Traveling from NS to Moncton. I was very happy with the friendliness I received. I was show all the suites and rooms to make sure that is what I wanted as this was a group coming for my sons wedding reception. I booked what I was happy with and went on my way. I phoned to confirm a week before the date to make sure everything was as we had planned an all was as I had been told. When I landed I was informed that the POOL WAS CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS, so I was unable to have the floor were the suite was, but it was OK as they still had the others. This was said as if it doesn't matter, you still get a suite. The point was missed I took the time to pick out what I wanted and then did not get to have it. I was very very disappointed. I should have been told when I phoned the week prier, I guess they didn't want to lose the business. I felt this to be very sneaky as we couldn't make changes at the last minute. All the other rooms were booked because I told friends how nice the rooms were and how friendly the staff was. All I can say is I was extremely disappointed as this was a very special occasion for my family and it started with this not being as I was promised. Why did I bother to take the time to set every thing up? Because I like to know what I am getting, I plan ahead for a reason, so I won't be disappointed. BIG BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! Kathy
