“Bad room, poor facilities”

Nothing good to say about the hotel and the room. The room was disgusting with slightly damp carpets, had a dreadful stench of cigarette smoke. The iron table was covered with stains. The sheets & towels were also stained. The carpets, lights and walls didnt seem like they had been changed in many many years and the paint in some of the walls was peeling off. The TV looked like something from the 1960's with very poor picture quality. There was a constant sound of a motor from the next room.As for the view, the less said the better. My room had a view of the back of the hotel which was a bunch of trees and stagnating water beyond which was the highway.I did ask the manager to change my room but he was not very helpful there. Just said he had no rooms available and didnt offer any apology for the state of the room. I paid about $90 for the room and I think you could spend a little bit more for a much much nicer place.
