“Frightening”

- I checked into the Howard Johnson Express Inn on Boston Rd., Bronx, NY. Much to my surprise, payment was demanded prior to my stay. I paid, but was told that I would not get a receipt until the end of my stay. My first room appeared ok, but as I snuggled down into bed I was bitten!! I caught the critter and immediately summoned the front desk. I was moved to another room, but as you can imagine, I just couldnt feel comfortable. The continental breakfast was not continental. It was bread, coffee, and tea, I was never offered a reduced rate for the inconvenience. It was pretty bad! i
