“Great location, dingy hotel with mediocre service. Shuttle runs only once a day”

  , Millstadt
Stayed two nights on trip to Universal Studies. Low budget trip. The front desk agent on check-in was helpful. On check-out, I had a miscommunication with the agent about a reservation for that night. He was condescending and defensive. The room could have been cleaner. The fan and heater in the bathroom did not work. The shower sprayed cold water intermittenly when had on the hot water. The AC would not stay running long enough to cool the room. The bed lamp and alarm clock were hooked into a power surge that kept going off making the alarm clock useless and it was difficult to charge cell phones. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was b/c it offered a free shuttle to Universal Studios. There was a notice behind the front desk indicating a $4.83 service charge per room per night for the shuttle. So it is not free. It only takes you to the park at 9:45am and picks you up at 7:45pm. This did not work with our travel schedule so we drove to the park (11 miles) and paid $15/day to park.
