“Bad Service”

I booked my Hotel room over a month in advance, and last minute, I was told that they did not have a room for me. I was lied to by them and i was really not impressed, especially because I am not from the country, and they told me that they gave my room to someone else. It was very stressful not knowing if I had a place to stay or not. I did not appreciate being lied to about the situation, and I think that the hotel could have accommodated my needs a bit better. We ended up getting a room because some one else and happened to check out (luckily for us), and I booked a 2 double bed room for a reason because there was two adults and we did not get 2 beds in our room. And on top of all of the mistakes, my credit card was charged even though the hotel double booked our room and they did not have a room for us anymore. In my understanding, if the hotel double books and ends up not having a room for the customer, then the credit card that was on file should have have been charged for a room that they are not getting. I was definitely not happy with the service.
