“turn the heat on the pools”

  , St Jean Baptiste
I went to ring in the new year with my husbands cousin and her 2 daughters and my son. They are all toddlers. We chose this hotel because of the kids pool and thought that the toddlers would have fun in a pool just for them. We were unable to play in the toddler pool as there was no heat....... to the point it felt like ice water. The larger pool was cold as well, but not like the kids pool. It was so unbelievably cold. If you have young kids, I would suggest staying at a hotel that costs a bit more, as I am sure they use the extra cost of the room to heat their pools. The kids lips were blue after just a few minutes, and I would really worry about hypothermia in young kids...... YES it was that cold. It is too bad, as the hotel was actually quite nice. P.S the hot tub was out of service when we arrived so we could not even go in it to warm up. I am left sad that the kids could not have a good time....................................... :(
