“10 Person Room”

  , Avon Lake
We stayed in the 10-person suite at this hotel. It was a very nice size, with two bedrooms, a large living room, two bathrooms (one with a toilet and sink and one with two shower dorm-like stalls and a sink, no toilet). The bad-- It looked like it was probably an innkeeper suite at some point, and not designed as a guest room. It was in the front of the hotel, adjacent to the lobby. Through the drop-ceiling, we could hear much of what was going on in the lobby at all hours of the day and night, including knocking and a bell in the middle of the night. Additionally, there is a train somewhere nearby that must go through 4-5 times per night, to further disturb a good-night's-rest. There is an abandoned building next door. As for the room condition, the ceiling had water stains, the ceiling tiles were not in place in areas, and the bathroom floor was dirty. The good-- spacious, not smelly, clean bedding and towels, about as close as possible to Cedar Point.
