“Growing Pains”

Myfriend and I had a one night stay; however, we have been to many places and have stayed at many resorts/hotels. The staff was great, but it didn't compensate for the HOT inner climate on any floor minus the lobby. One of the three elevators was down, and since we were on the 14th floor, it was hot. Our view of downtown Tampa was awesome; however, once we opened our door there was the fridge in the middle of our room with the microwave still in the box. We called the front desk asking to get them installed and we waited an hour and 15 minutes before we called the front desk again advising them to install it when we went out. I had a bag full of drinks sitting on top of the microwave and I left a note kindly asking them to put the drinks inside so they would be cool when we returned. To our surprise, the staff DID have both appliances installed and the drinks were cold when we returned. The fixtures needed caulking and the shower head needed to be raised to accommodate my 6ft height. The bed was SO comfortable and the TV was great, but needs to get off an analog network and use a digital HD service otherwise the $ they spent of the LG's 32" LCD TV's would be a waste. Again, I recognize all of said issues were growing pains and once the renovations are complete I'd would definitely stay there again. If they aren't I'd still stay there because the issues are Indeed growing pains.
