“Not Worth the Price!”; Jan 23, 2013 Nancy E, Innisfil, Ontario; Good Afternoon, We recently stayed at the Howard Johnson Hotel in Aurora, Ontario Canada for one night on January 19th, 2012. This will be the first and the last time we stay at this hotel. For this price we could have stayed in the holiday Inn and received a better quality service. The room was okay, but there was no bottled water in the room or for that matter in the hotel period. We tried a few vending machines and none of these had water in them as well. We brought this to the front desk because instead of water we received coke and this was not what we wanted. Well, this is when we found out that there was no housekeeping on site that they had left for the night..time you ask well this was at 4:45pm. We also had continental breakfast included and were informed that they do not do breakfast on the weekends unless they have more guests (hotel was fairly empty) but, that means we have paid for this to be included and it wasn't. ( What do you think you should do about this one?) Next, no extra pillows in room and could not get any because there was no housekeeping..what a joke!!! Following morning, thought we would at least make coffee in our room...The coffee machine took over 20 minutes to make coffee and once made we could not find anything in our room or at the breakfast area to stir our coffee..We just left this hotel and will never go back..These are the little things that we like about other hotels and not having water any where in the hotel is pretty bad, no breakfast, what is up with this..I think they should have offered us a voucher to have breakfast elsewhere..The only staff we saw at this hotel was the front desk person..Definitely not worth the price!
