“Over-priced and under-dated”

- My girlfriend and I were having a girls night out and if there had been any other hotel to stay at in the vicinity we wouldn't have stayed at the Howard Johnson. It was $140 for the night and was a "motel" experience at best. Half of the "amenities" are not offered any more and the staff seem to show up and do their job.............no more, no less. The inside is in desperate need of updating!!!! I don't expect the Ritz Carlton for $140 a night but I do expect more than what this place has to offer.If you are on vacation and will have time to enjoy the hotel you're staying at, this is NOT the place for you. If you're just needing somewhere to sleep and you have no other option, this might work.
