“Horribly misrepresented”; Nov 14, 2012 Chris H, Ottawa; We knew that the pool and facade of the building were being renovated, fair enough. But this place is a half-step above a tenament! There was water damage everwhere, and stains and cigarette burns on the bedding! There were bare studs on the walls where pictures used to hang, and the bathroom had moldy black spots! The service was not especially bad, but for HoJo to even have this place on the online reservation system shows a complete disregard for the customer and just feels like money-grubbing/gouging by a major hotel chain. This location shouldn't be on the reservation system until it can be gutted and completely renovated!
