“Our worst hotel experience ever!!”

We booked a room with a King bed. We got Room 118 on the ground floor. At approximately 12:30 am we were startled awake by the noise from the room above us. Thumping on the floors and walls, dropping objects on the floor, dragging furniture around. We listened to that for 2 hours before I called the front desk. After about 10 rings, someone answered the phone and I told him what was happening. He said he would talk to them. Approximately 1/2 later, I called again. He hung up on me. I called again, and I was really mad at this point, I told him that I wanted it stopped. He again said he would talk to them. Each time he supposedly talked to them, it got worst. I called again, the fourth time. This time he said it would be easier for us to change rooms. He moved us to 102, a room with two double beds. This was now around 3:30 am. Finally around 4 am we fell asleep. Shortly after 6 am, we were awaken again by the same types of noises coming from the room above us. The thumping on the floor and the walls and really loud talking. I couldn't believe it. Finally, we got up and checked out. The front desk was apologetic and offered me a 50% discount, I told him no, I want all my money back cause I did not get the service I paid for. His response to that was, well go, I haven't charged you anything as yet. So I left, and I hope it doesn't show up on my credit card statement.
