“Not a good choice”

Prior to arrival, they threatened to cancel the 3 rooms that I booked if I didn't respond in 24 hours. Not only was I surprised by this phone message, but I was also surprised because I had 5 rooms reserved. The hotel staff maintained that I called (I booked the rooms in september) in March and canceled two of the rooms. I didn't. I have a common last name. Someone else (without a confirmation number) had canceled my rooms. The rooms were not pleasant (dirty and uncomfortable) and the staff openly talked about the other clients VERY loudly at the front desk. Additionally, there were several other noisy rooms that the hotel staff did not ask to quiet down. Finally, when the room across the hall got bed bugs, the hotel staff was not happy when we asked to have one of the rooms inspected. When they left the room inspection, one of the staff members said in a snide voice, "we keep a clean hotel."
