“dirty rooms with rooming house flavour.”; Jan 24, 2013 T W, Janetville; I stayed in room 208. i don't think that room has been cleaned in the past year. Only possible thing clean was the sheets and pillow cases. Maybe the towels. Hair everywhere in the bathroom and I used a washcloth to hold the hair dryer to avoid the greasy handle with hair on it. The furniture is old and lights are broken or out dated. I noticed there are people from india used as slave labour for cleaning the hotel. They don't do a good job. Sorry but thats the truth.In the evening they hang around the lobby for get-togethers. Very uncomfortable for me. Place is more of a rooming house atmosphere with balconies upon balconies that are missing the clothes line to really make it feel like the ghetto. Breakfast was sad and the basement where it is served reminds me of a dungeon that is depressing and scary. I won't be going back. No bed bugs but look behind the mattress for creepy crawlies.
