“Crummy but clean”

An overnight stay only to attend a function in Scarborough. Location is in a rundown area. The entire parking area and outside of building in need of dire repair. Terrible! Handicapped ramp available only from inside the hotel. 3 steep steps at entrance, difficult for people with mobility issues. Office area acceptable except for one wall area, covered with plywood. Public washroom, clean. Room furnishings and drapes ok. However small fridge that I opened not connected and the smell that came out of it nearly made me want to vomit. Bed linens, clean. Bathroom, clean. Lack of towels in bathroom. 1 washcloth, 1 hand towel, 2 larger towels. Breakfast served in basement level. 2 flights of stairs to get to dining area, impossible access for handicapped people. No Fruits. Hotel was not noisy. Passable for a very cheap overnight stay. Reserved at Howard Johnson and when we got there it was a knights Inn. Not worthy of the Wyndham brand.
