“Great Staff; Terrible Cleanliness”

The hotel staff was beyond friendly, polite and welcoming when we checked in. However, the hotel room had an odor that was so gross you could almost taste it, the window did not open to let it air out, and the fan unit would only blow cold air that smelt like mold, which actually was a more preferable smell than the unknown odor. The mattress had what appeared to be hard mice droppings on it. The toilet had hair on the seat from the previous occupant. And the very old TV was smudged with fingertips across the screen making it almost impossible to watch anything with a clear picture. If I was staying for cheap, I could dismiss a few of these issues. But after paying over $140 for a night, I was very upset. I think this place needs to hire new cleaning staff, if it has any at all.
