“Howard Johnson.”

My husband and I stayed in the Gatlinburg, TN location on this past memorial day weekend. We had a pretty good experience with the hotel. Our only problem was the parking issue. We understand that this was a busy weekend for Gatlinburg but our room was at the bottom of the hill of the parking lot and we ended up having to park at the top of the hill in a place where the dumpster was and walk pretty far to our room. We saw a few cars that didn't have their tag in their windows and there was a party going on in one of the other rooms so we thought that those cars might be people that weren't even staying there. We went to the reception desk and asked the gentleman working about this issue and he said that they do not "enforce the parking tags". My husband and I thought that this was odd and that hotels are supposed to enforce the parking tags so that there are not people just parking there for the heck of it. We had on okay experience but I don't think that we will ever stay there again.
