“dissapointed”

I've stayed at other Howard Johnson and this place was sad. My room was ridiculous. The lights by the bed didn't work because the outlet behind the bed was broken. I later found out that was the same for all the rooms. When booking the room I specifically asked for a refrigerator and microwave. Upon check in I found I didn't have one and no room was available. I proceeded to state how I had specifically requested a room with both and had both frozen and refrigerated foods. The lady at the front desk assured me that the following morning at 8 am I would get both. Next morning at 830 still no fridge or microwave so I went down to the desk and asked. She said she had no maintenance man until after 830 and so that she didn't see a note but would take care of it when she could. At 1030 I was told the maintenance man was fixing a door and would be there as soon as he was done. At noon I went down once again because the maintenance man was on the roof. An hour later I got my fridge and microwave but my food was ruined and they didn't care... The manager for the hotel said sorry but we charge extra for those rooms so whatever atleast your getting one now. I called to ask to speak with his boss. Was told that boss would get in touch with me 3 weeks later no word. I will never stay at Howard Johnson again. Crappy customer service! Rude managers! And falling apart...
