Thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to write us a review on TripAdvisor. We really appreciate the fact that you came to visit us on your trip into San Antonio. As previously discussed, your original credit card had declined while an authorization was ran to ensure we can continue holding your room until your arrival. The front desk clerk made a courtesy call to get another method of payment to prevent a cancellation. Your card was authorized for your stay like any other hotel does and upon check in time, you were presented with an authorization slip. We pride ourselves in customer satisfaction. For any reason, if you weren't happy with your room an hour into your stay, we would have been more than happy to reverse the authorization since every card is normally charged at check out time. I do apologize about the confusion of "pre-paying" vs. an "authorization" that sometimes lingers in the hospitality industry. Should there be anything else we can help with, please let us know.
