“Good But”

Our experience at the Yuma Howard Johnson was good BUT could have been really good if the motel would employ a handiman who would go around and check the rooms, fixing little annoying things. This would be very inexpensive and would have made a differnce in our experience there.The Bathroom door hinges needed tightening - door scraped on the floorThe faucet body was not tightened onto the sink.More than one electrical outlet was not tight - plugs connected poorly and the whole thing wobbled on the wall.These things made the room seem shoddy but I, and I am sure almost any handiman could have fixed them in short order.Also not enough room in the breakfast area and needed another waffle iron.Howard Johnson needs to have people traveling around to stay in their motels and point out things like this to operators to get them fixed. I could not get internet access on the wi fi. I mentioned this to the desk, nothing changed. NOT GOOD ENOUGH! These days excellent wifi should be a given. If we did not have our own wifi hotspot with Verizon I would have been extremely unhappy and may have left for another motel
