“Hotel from h****”

Hubby booked 3 nights in the Honeymoon Suite to celebrate our anniversary. We also had to work during the day and looked forward to evenings with a jacuzzi. First impression was that it was dark and dingy, poor lighting, had to kneel on the floor at the dark end of the room with the laptop on the TV stand to check emails. Plugs would not stay in the outlet in the vanity area so had to hold them in while using hair dryer. After a long workday, came back to the room to find that housekeeping had never been there! Called the desk and were given towel and an apology - did get a $25 credit for the error.The next night, our key card did not work. Went to the desk twice and finally the clerk had to open the door with the master key. There was a burn hole in the bed spread. Chose to not eat the breakfast - skimpy and lacking in variety. Picked this hotel because it was a Wyndham Property. Have called Wyndham and Howard Johnson to complain.
