“The Holwecks stressful visit!”

We did really like the location and would like to stay again but minus all the issues we had the deal with. The staff was all very nice, Giovonni (sp) at the front desk was great. The service man (sorry don't know his name) was also tried very hard to resolve the lock issues. The person who changed the light in shower (it happens) left a big mess on our clothes that were hanging up and tub floor. Plus, the drain in tub was very slow the entire time and we stood in water the whole time we showered. With the door lock (the biggest issue), we could not get into our room many tiimes and it was very frustrating! Having to go back down to the lobby for new cards to finally realize it was the lock not the key card. So, they did offer to change our room to next door but we were on a very tight schedule for family wedding events. So we did not have time to change rooms, so service man stated he will change our lock while we were gone and the problem will be solved by the time we got back. It was better but still a few issues getting in. Now staff was great! James in the bar was fantastic, Giovanni was very professional and friendly. All staff had a smile on their faces ready to help out. We di get a discount to make up for issues.Now keep in mind, we had other family staying in another room and they had zero problems!! I would still reccommend this hotel, especially for the price. And the pool is nice but could stand to be cleaned more often.
